Birddog Trade Wanted - Steve Dunn 01-12
I have a fully restored Cessna Cardinal 177B with 180hp and constant speed prop I would like to trade for a fully restored Bird Dog. My Cardinal just won overall Grand Champion at Serfi 2011 and has 75 hrs since LYCON major and 65 hrs SOH on the prop. TT airframe is 1850 hrs and this aircraft is one of only a handful that came from the factory with full chromate corrosion proofing. This Cardinal has the good O-360 with two individual magnetos and does not have the infamous D series single drive shaft mag. SW aircraft with absolutely no corrosion. New paint, glass interior. Full IFR KX 1555 w/GS and GX55 GPS, four place intercom. Last annual and IFR certification 4/2011. $85,000 spent on restoration and I am looking to trade even or up to $10,000 cash difference for a comparable L-19 with low engine time. Air Force Gray preferred but will consider Army OD, no high vis red/white schemes.
