IBDA Knowledge Base |
Welcome to the IBDA "knowledge base" section
of the website. The information you will find here is the
cumulative knowledge of our Association based on over a half a
century of operating Birddogs. Its purpose is to provide a
residence for such knowledge so that future generation of
Birddog owners can access and enjoy this time tested
information. The information will never be complete and as
further knowledge arises, it will be deposited in this category.
The information is to span anything relevant to the Birddog.
That includes operational histories, technical information,
Cessna facts, etc. We anticipate as this category is developed,
that all of our membership will contribute some pertinent
information.
To access the knowledge base simply type a key word in the
"SEARCH" BOX. For example if you wish to find out information on
what colors were authentic on Birddog paint jobs, simply type
the word "paint" in the box. It will then display what
information is available. The search feature being multifaceted,
had you typed in the "SEARCH" box "Federal Paint Spec numbers",
you would still receive the same returns.
Since this is information gathered from the collective
memories of our membership, we strongly CAUTION you to verify.
This is especially true for any technical advice that may be
viewed. Be sure to check with your local CFI, A/P or I/A for
their view on any recommended practice. Remember the information
herein is provided for examination and evaluation by the reader.
